1934 NATIONAL PARKS COMMEMORATIVE SHEETS Postmaster General James Farley delighted collectors by authorizing commemorative sheets honoring two 1934 philatelic exhibitions: a gummed, imperforate sheet of six 3¢ Mt. Rainier National Park stamps, issued for the American Philatelic Society convention in Atlantic City, NJ; and a gummed, imperforate sheet of six 1¢ Yosemite National Park stamps publicizing the Trans-Mississippi Philatelic Exhibition in Omaha, NE.
