To perfectly re-create these Franklin and Washington designs, the original, century-old dies were used to create the printing plates. Note that the colors were changed to blue and orange to avoid confusing the centennial issues with the originals.

As part of a huge dealer's stock that we recently purchased, we discovered a number of 1000 Worldwide packets prepared by a retired dealer more than 20 years ago. When we examined a few packets we found a tremendous variety of wonderful postage stamps from more than 35 countries, with a slight problem - some of the Czechoslovakian stamps were stuck together (these old Czechoslovakian stamps utilized a gum that was prone to this).

At Least 700 Old Stamps
A conservative estimate is that you'll get well over 700 stamps that are not affected at a cost of a little more than 1¢ per stamp, which is a wonderful bargain today. You'll also find around 100 pictorial local issues.
