#3790 - 37¢ Tybee Island
On the northeast end of Tybee Island on the northern coast of Georgia, this is one of the few surviving colonial era lighthouses. When this stamp was first designed, it had a different color scheme, but in a 2002 restoration it was repainted in its 1916 colors, forcing the designer to update the design to keep the artwork accurate.
