Nanchang is the capital of the Jiangxi Province and the third largest city in China. The Uprising Museum, formerly the Jiangxi Grand Hotel, was the headquarters of a 1927 uprising by Communist troops and opened as a museum to the uprising in 1957. (China PRC #648)
