British Military Currency - Set of 5 Crisp Uncirculated Banknotes from the Cold War

In post-war Germany and the occupied city of Berlin, goods intended for British soldiers were being intercepted and sold on the black market at inflated prices. To halt the illegal trading a series of vouchers were issued to soldiers to be used solely on military bases. These colorful and historic banknotes were used by the British military in post-war occupied Berlin between 1948 and 1979. Portfolio includes a history and certificate of authenticity.
