A remarkable collection from the hyperinflation crisis of 1921-24 when Germany was forced to pay massive war reparations that sparked one of the worst periods of inflation in history. The Reichsbank, Germany’s national bank, could barely print paper money in increasingly larger denominations fast enough to keep up with the rising prices of goods.
