Morro Lighthouse - Cuba #432 - Save 33% on this 1949 Mint Issue

Built on the ramparts of the 16th century Castillo de los Tres Magos del Morro (Morro Castle) in Havana, this historic lighthouse, Cuba's oldest, has been guiding ships in to the harbor of Havana since 1844. Its beacon is visible for over 20 miles.
Today, tourists can climb to the top of the lighthouse and enjoy a panoramic view of Havana. This 1949 issue, delayed from its intended 1944 release, commemorates the 100th anniversary of Havana's famous landmark. (Cuba #432)
