Commemorates the 260th anniversary of the founding of the Province of Carolina and the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the original settlement near present-day Charleston, South Carolina. The central image shows governor Joseph Ward and a friendly Kiawah Indian chief standing together on a beach with two ships in the distance.
