Marijuana Tax Stamps - 1962 Complete Mint Never-Hinged Set of 3 with Straight Edges

Virtually unknown to collectors for decades, these stamps were rarely seen until 2005 when a small supply held for decades by the Treasury Department were quickly snapped up by eager collectors. Paying a 1937 tax levied on medical professionals prescribing marijuana at $1 an ounce, these $1, $5 and $10 stamps were intended to be affixed to order forms filed with the IRS.
