#3192 - 32¢ Remember the Maine

In the U.S. public opinion began to blame Spain for the tragedy, much of that was influenced by "Yellow Press" journalism by William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer. "Remember the Maine" became a rallying cry for action which led to the Spanish-American War later that year.
