As President, William McKinley signed the bill establishing the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, a World's Fair held in St. Louis from April to December 1904. Its opening was delayed from 1903 to allow more states and nations to participate. The fair also hosted the 1904 Summer Olympics. Scott 326 McKinley
