#3555 - 34¢ Figure Skating
Figure skating was first contested at the 1908 Summer Olympics, and has been part of every Winter Olympics since the first in 1924. Initially, skaters were required to skate compulsory figures, such as the figure 8, but in 1990 compulsory figures were eliminated from international competition and skaters must now incorporate certain moves in their program.
