Morocco Tangier-Fez

1892 Mint Set of 6

The postal history of Morocco is one of the most fascinating areas for stamp collectors, with post offices run by the French, British, Germans and Spanish, as well as private enterprises prior to their independence. This rarely seen mint set is one of their first postal issues, denominated in French currency and sold in 1892 to cover local postage between the cities of Tangier and Fez.
