Singapore #28-42 - 1955 Complete Set of 15

Singapore's first set issued during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, and its last as a Malayan state, depicts airplanes and ships on the lower values - from traditional Chinese sampans and small ships to a modern oil tanker and ocean liner. The engraved top values show a statue of Stamford Raffles, founder of Singapore, a view of the Singapore River, and the state's coat of arms. (#28-42)
