Canada #35 Queen Victoria - 1870 Unused Issue

Known as the "Small Queens", this series was introduced in 1870 to allow for more stamps on the printing plate, and remained in use for 27 years. The 1-cent value, printed in a bright shade of yellow, paid the rate for post cards and local letters. (Canada #35)
