# 852 - 3¢ Golden Gate Expo

The Golden Gate International Exposition was held in 1939 and 1940 and celebrated the completion of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. The Exposition was conducted on Treasure Island, an artificial island created for the festivities. Scott 852 Golden Gate Exposition
