Own a forgotten piece of World War II history!  In 1939, at the onset of the war, Albania’s King Zog was forced to flee his country and live in exile when the Mussolini-led Italian government declared Albania a protectorate of Italy.  After the war, the communists subdued all political opposition and consolidated their power.

In 1952 King Zog’s Government in Exile issued a small number of stamps to promote their efforts to restore the monarchy in Albania.  This colorful set featured Albania’s hero, Skanderbeg along with Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill.  Order this fascinating mint set of 8 from King Zog’s exiled government – quantities are limited!
