Nazi Power 11th Anniversary - 1944 Mint Issue

During the height of Nazi power, Germany issued a number of commemorative stamps with a surtax earmarked for the "Hitler National Culture Fund", a trust headed by Joseph Goebbels which supported the purchase of art primarily for propaganda purposes. (Germany #B252)
