Great Britain #131 2 1/2p Edward VII - 1902 Issue

Edward VII was King of England for only 9 years from 1901 to 1910, following the 63-year reign of his mother Queen Victoria. However he was so influential that he even had an era named for him. Great Britain only issued 24 stamps during his short reign, including this 21/2 penny issue, which is remembered as a time of peace and prosperity. (Great Britain #131)
