Lihtuania #C71-78 Orphan Aid - 1933 Mint NH Set of 8

These colorful and unusual triangle-shaped stamps were issued to raise money for Lithuanian orphans and were valid for only one week. The subjects include poet Joseph Maironis, writer Joseph Tumas-Vaizgantas, poet Vincas Kudirka who composed the Lithuanian national anthem, and writer Julia Zemaite. (Lithuania #C71-78)
