Siberia #10 Classic - 1919 Imperforate Mint Issue

Siberia was one of many Russian regions that declared their independence after the 1917 revolution against Czarist Russia. The provisional government under the leadership of Admiral Kolchak issued its first stamps, overprinted on Russian Empire stamps, in 1919. Kolchak’s anti- Bolshevist government was soon overthrown by the Red Army, ending his leadership. (Siberia #10)
