Submarines Prestige Booklet - 2000 Mint Commemorative Booklet

The first U.S. “Prestige” booklet, this was also the first time commemorative stamps of different values were combined in a single booklet pane. Issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Navy’s first submarine, the USS Holland, the 5 stamps follow the development of the submarine to modern nuclear-powered vessels.
