Canada #73 10¢ Queen Victoria

Framed by the crisp maple leaves in all 4 corners, these finely engraved postage stamps were introduced over 120 years ago, during the 60th year of Victoria’s reign. Due to the difficulty in reading the written face value under the Queen a modified design was introduced a year later that incorporated the denomination in place of the lower leaves.
