U.S. #671 2¢ Nebraska On Cover - From the 1929 Test Period
In an old dealer’s stock we discovered a small stack of covers with the 2¢ Nebraska overprint (#671) all sent from Nebraska to Deer Trail, Colorado, a small town famous for holding the first rodeo. Finding covers from the time of the Kansas-Nebraska test, where small towns were supplied with the overprinted stamps, is unusual and rare. Each cover bears the overprinted stamp with a clear 1929 Nebraska postmark.
