This 3¢ Victory stamp was issued to celebrate the 1918 Armistice ending World War I, which was signed at 11 o’clock on the 11th day of the 11th month. A female figure representing Liberty is shown holding a sword and the scales of justice. Behind her are the flags of Great Britain, France, the United States, Italy and Belgium.
