Venezuela C337a Bolivarian Games - 1951 Commemotative Sheet
First held in 1938 the Bolivarian Games, named for South American liberator Simon Bolivar, are open to athletes from Bolivia, Colombua, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Venezuela. This large sheet commemorates the Third Bolivarian Games held in Caracas from December 5 to 21, 1951. The highly-detailed engraved stamps were printed by the American Bank Note Company and show a bicycle race held in Venezuela's National Velodrome.
