#1912 - 18¢ Exploring Moon
Man has always been fascinated with and curious about the Moon. In December of 1968 the crew of Apollo 8 became the first human beings to see the far side of the Moon with their own eyes (the far side is permanently turned away from the Earth). Then in July of 1969 Neil Armstrong, commander of the Apollo 11 mission, became the first man to walk on the surface of the Moon. Scott 1912 Exploring the Moon
