Yugoslavia Government In Exile - 1945 Mint Set of 6

After the German attack on Yugoslavia in 1941, the old Yugoslavian government led by King Peter II went into exile in London. The exiled government issued a small number of stamps to pay postage on mail transported on Royal Yugoslav Navy ships and on mail from the London office. Following the war, the stamps came into the possession of Tito's socialist government where they were overprinted with the date in recognition of the new government.
