Bearing both German and New York cancellations, this historic cover flew aboard the last of the great Zeppelins and pride of the Third Reich and is a genuine piece of history! A year later it would explode in mid-air while docking at the U.S. naval Air Station in Lakehurst, New Jersey. While the stamps and cover formats may vary from those shown, all flown Zeppelin postcards or envelopes will have the official cachet and cancellation used on that flight.
