# 218 - 90¢ Perry - purple

Having been in print since 1870 with only a change in paper, the 90¢ Perry was reissued in 1888 in a rich purple shade. Only 100,000 copies were printed, making it the scarcest of the American Bank Note printings and the last of the large banknotes. Scott 218 90¢ Perry
