3¢ Jackson - US #302 Unused - Save $36.00

The "Gingerbread Series", introduced in 1902, was a drastic change from the previous definitive issue. Gone were the plain borders in use since 1890, replaced by elaborate ornamentation that almost overpowered the subject of the stamp.

Today the Gingerbread Series is one of the most popular U.S. sets because of its ornate Art Nouveau appearance and short lifespan. The 3¢ Jackson, issued on February 11, 1903, honors our 7th president, whose portrait is flanked by bearded men serving as supporting columns. Seeing limited use, it is one of the more difficult of the lower values to find in unused condition. This unused 3¢ issue may have minor imperfections, but it will be an attractive stamp with fine or better centering and a welcome addition to your collection - plus you save 45% off our regular price! And as always, your satisfaction is guaranteed. (US #302 unused)
