In cultures all around the world, dolls have been components in magical rituals, religious icons, and beloved children’s toys. With an extensive history dating back hundreds of years, it is no wonder that what was originally planned to be a set of four stamps quickly grew into a sheet of 15 unique dolls representing walks of life all across America.
