#3507 - 34¢ Peanuts
For nearly five decades, newspaper readers enjoyed daily installments in the adventures of the "Peanuts" gang - Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, Sally, and a boy named Charlie Brown. Created by Charles Schulz (1922-2000) in 1950, it was inspired by Schulz's real life, and more than 18,000 strips were created in the next 50 years. Unlike many cartoonists, Schulz never used an assistant to assist in creating the strips. Regarded as one of the most influential cartoonists of all time, Schulz's "Peanuts" defined the modern comic strip and is still enjoyed today around the world. Scott 3507 Peanuts
