Emilio Sanchez (1921-1999) was a Cuban-American artist best known for his brilliant collection of architectural paintings and lithographs. Sanchez explored the effects of light and shadow in his art to emphasize the abstract geometry of his subjects. His artwork embraces his Cuban heritage as well as his years spent in New York City.
