#760 - 5¢ Yellowstone: Plate Block - blue imperforate without gum

Yellowstone National Park in northwestern Wyoming was established in 1872 by President Grant, and is considered the first National Park in the world. Among its many geothermal features is the Old Faithful Geyser which is one of the most predictable geographical features on Earth, erupting every 91 minutes. In the early days of the park, Old Faithful was often used as a laundry. As part of the Farley Special Printings, this stamp was issued imperforate and without gum. Scott 760 Yellowstone
