#763 - 8¢ Zion FDC - sage green imperforate without gum
Zion National Park in Utah was named a National Monument in 1909 and became a National Park in 1919. Its most prominent feature is Zion Canyon which is 15 miles long and up to a half mile deep. This stamp shows the Great White Throne, a white sandstone mountain 6,744 feet high. As part of the Farley Special Printings, this stamp was issued imperforate and without gum. Scott 763 Zion.
