Italy #71 King Humbert - 1895 Issue

King Humbert, or Umberto I, was called “The Good King” and ruled Italy at a time of colonial expansion and social change. This stamp, issued in 1895, is one of the final issues depicting Humbert before his assassination by an anarchist in 1900. (Italy #71)
