Founded in 1890, the Commercial Bureau of the American Republics was renamed the Pan-American Union in 1910. The Union was meant to foster cooperation on trade and other issues across the American Continents. The United States Postal Service placed the Pan-American Union Commemorative Stamp on sale in 1940, the 50th birthday of the Union. Scott 895 Pan Amer. Union
