Austria #B269-71 Carinthian Plebiscite - 1950 Complete Mint Set of 3

After the defeat of the Habsburg dynasty in World War I, the ownership of the territory of Carinthia in southern Austria was disputed between Austria and what would become Yugoslavia. A plebiscite or referendum was held, with a majority of the population voting to remain with Austria. This scarce set commemorates the 30th anniversary of the plebiscite. (Austria #B269-71)
