Germany #B104 Hitler - 1937 Sheet With Marginal Inscriptions

Adolf Hitler was as vain as he was ruthless. In 1937 he ordered the German Post to issue stamps honoring his birthday, having the audacity to add a surcharge to the sheets for the “Hitler Culture Fund” which actually helped pay for his art collection. In addition, he earned a royalty from every stamp bearing his image! This perforated sheet of four stamps has rouletted margins and a 25pf surcharge adjacent to each stamp. (Germany B104 sheet)
