France #553-56 Marianne - 1945 Complete Mint Set of 4

The allegorical symbol of Liberty, the youthful figure of Marianne has been adorning French stamps for generations. This beautifully engraved set, issued shortly after World War II, is considered the most attractive of the Marianne issues.
