As part of Outer Mongolia, sandwiched between China and Russia, the lost nation of Tannu Tuva issued some of the world’s most unusually-shaped and colorful postage stamps during the 1930s. Included in this beautiful last airmail set is the desirable “Zeppelin over the Tundra” issues. (#C10-18)
