New South Wales #93 - Classic 1891 Mint NH Issue

Overprinted to cover a shortage of needed denominations, these rarely-seen surcharged stamps are especially scarce in mint never-hinged condition, and were on sale for a brief time. This was the only 7½-pence stamp issued by New South Wales. This stamp's overprint is for 7½ pence on a six-pence stamp. (New South Wales #93)
