Spooky Silhouettes Halloween FDC - Exclusive Set of 4 First Day Covers

We were thrilled and honored when the U.S. Postal Service chose our home town of Milford, New Hampshire, as the official first day site of the Halloween-themed "Spooky Silhouettes" stamps in 2019. 

Issued at the opening of the 30th annual Milford Pumpkin Festival, it was indeed a special event, covered by local and national media. The organizing committee of the Milford Pumpkin Festival prepared a set of 4 cacheted first day covers, picturing the festival logo as well as Milford's iconic downtown images of its 19th-century bandstand and the town hall's clock tower, which still rings out on the hour on one of the last bells cast by Paul Revere.
