Cuba Flag Centennial - Save Over 25% - 1951 Complete Set of 8

The Cuban flag was first flown in 1850, adopted as their national flag upon their independence in 1902, and remains unchanged to this day. This finely engraved set pictures revolutionaries Miguel Teurbe Tolon and Narciso Lopez, who designed the flag while living as exiles in New York City, Emilia Teurbe Tolon who sewed the first flag, as well as scenes from the Battle of Cardenas where it first flew. Coincidentally, the flag of Puerto Rico uses this same design, only with the red and blue colors reversed!  (Cuba #458-61, C41-43, E13)
