Tripolitania #38-39 - 1930 NH Set of 2

This short-lived Italian colony, bordering the Mediterranean in northern Africa, issued stamps for just a decade before being incorporated into Libya. Among their handful of stamps was this 1930 issue overprinted on an Italian set commemorating the 400th anniversary of the death of Tuscan warrior Francesco Ferrucci. (Tripolitania #38-39)
