Ukraine Local Overprints - 7 Mint Overprints After Collapse of the Soviet Union

After the 1992 breakup of the Soviet Union, many communities in the newly independent Ukraine resorted to overprinting the old stock of Soviet-era stamps for local use until national Ukrainian stamps were available. While the underlying Soviet stamps may vary, this packet contains seven rarely-seen local overprinted issues from these Ukrainian regions: Belgorod, Dnestrovsky, Bessarabia, Kerch, Kherson, Kirovograd, Obukhiv, and Sumy.
