US #373 Hudson-Fulton Imperforate - Save 40%

The Hudson-Fulton Celebration was a grand festival celebrating the 300th anniversary of the discovery of the Hudson River and the 100th anniversary of Robert Fulton's steamship, and included an airplane flight by Wilbur Wright.

One of only 3 commemoratives issued in 1909, it pictured a scene that could never happen - Henry Hudson's 1609 ship "Half Moon", Fulton's 1807 steamship "Clermont", and an Indian canoe in the Hudson River. Although over 72 million perforated stamps were printed, only 216,000 imperforate stamps were released mainly for use in automatic affixing machines.

While this 114-year-old unused 2¢ issue may have minor imperfections, it will be a welcome addition to your collection - and you can save $20 off our regular price! And as always, your satisfaction is guaranteed. (US #373)
