# 925 - 3¢ Corregidor

The Island of Corregidor was the key strategic position of Manila Bay during World War II. At the expense of nearly 3,000 lives, the Japanese captured the Island on May 6, 1942. The Allies recaptured the Island in 1945. Scott 925 Corregidor
