1879 3¢ Washington - US #184 Unused on soft paper with secret mark

This basic design was printed by three different security printers from 1870-1888 National, Continental & American Bank Note companies and are a challenge to distinguish. The unused 1879 American Bank Note issue #184 includes a "secret mark" and is on a soft porous paper.
